OMAT Electric Three-Way Temperature Control ValveOverview
The OUMAT electric three-way temperature control valve regulates flow by controlling the movement of the valve disc inside the valve based on temperature changes of the temperature-sensitive liquid within the temperature sensor. The flow characteristic of the valve disc is linear. The mixing temperature control valve has two inlets and one outlet; the diverting temperature control valve has one inlet and two outlets. When one valve seat tends to close, the other tends to fully open. By adjusting the opening of the valve disc, an appropriate flow ratio can be achieved. It is an ideal product for solar water supply, geothermal heating constant temperature control, and water-to-water heat exchange systems.
The electric three-way temperature control valve consists of a control valve, electric actuator, temperature sensor, and temperature regulator. Depending on user needs, it is available in two structures: heating type and cooling type. Structure and principle of the heating type control valve: Before operation, the main valve core is in a half-open position, and the sensor is in a natural state. After connecting to the power supply, the main valve core fully opens. The medium flows into the main valve body in the direction of the arrow and heats the heat storage tank via the valve core. When the temperature rises to the corresponding set value, the sensor generates a corresponding linear signal integrated actuator, which immediately drives the valve stem and valve core to displace, closing the main valve core to stop heating. When the temperature is below the set value, the sensor generates a linear signal integrated actuator, driving the valve core to gradually open, allowing the medium to flow into the heat storage tank with a parabolic characteristic for heating until the set value is reached. Thus, the controlled medium is always maintained within the set temperature range, achieving temperature control. Note: The commonly referred heating type and cooling type can be achieved by simply replacing the valve core structure in this valve.
